A Five Year Vacation Audience: This essay is directed to an audience of young adults aged twenty-one to twenty-six. People in this group are physically active andhave an open mind to new experiences. They are able to afford competitive prices on lodging and other travel expenses. These young adults would travel as a group or with a significant other. Thesis: The Virginia Beach area is a great vacation spot for young adults because of the fun tourist activities, delicious restaurants, and fast-paced night clubs. Outline: II. Virginia Beach has delicious dinning options. A. Otani Japanese Steakhouse has great authentic Japanese food. B. Adberden Steakhouse and Sports Bar is a fantastic choice for a romantic evening. A. The Banque is a night club and bar, which is a great place to learn how to line dance and two step. B. Peabody’s is a fun night club that plays hip-hop music. A Five Year Vacation A final popular form of entertainment is the night clubs. Virginia Beach has a variety of fast-paced night clubs. For instance, if a person likes country music there is the Banque, which is a night club and bar with pool tables, poker,and darts. This was the club that I visited the most and I always had an excellent time there. Most of the night I would be out on the large dance floor line dancing or two stepping. When I first went to the Banque I did not know how to do either but there were friendly people there to teach me. I remember the second time my girlfriends and I went there. I asked twin cowboys if they would teach us how to two step and right away they took us out on the dance floor. In addition to the Banque, Peabody’s, plays hip-hop music. When my friends and I would go to this club,we would always dance next to the DJ up on a stage. This was the best place to dance because it didnot get as crowded as the dance floor and we can see the entire club. Along with a live DJ there are two large bars, pool tables, and a VIP party room.
