September 11th, 2001 was one of the most tragic days in the history of our country, but did terrorists really plan, organize, and carry out these attacks.. Thirty-six percent of the American population, called truthers, would say not (Grossman). They believe that our government orchestrated these attacks in order to run a political agenda of their own. The evidence to support the truther point of view is great in amount and power; however, the people that attempt to shoot it down, called debunkers, make some goods points as well. From the total destruction of the WTC towers to the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, truthers have overwhelming evidence that points to our own government orchestrating the attacks on that tragic day.
Even before I began researching this paper I already knew more than the Average Joe about the events of 9/11 and the conspiracy behind it. I chose this topic because I think that the truthers make a great case, and I knew that I would enjoy learning more and telling more people about this alleged treachery.

Another thing I knew, a truther is someone that supports the conspiracy and a debunker is one who supports our government and attempts to shoot down truther theories.
There were many things I wanted to learn going into this project. Like I said, I didn’t know a whole lot about the debunker point of view going into this paper, so one of the things I wanted to learn was how they respond to the truther evidence. I also wanted to research the truther point of view more extensively in order to fully understand what they think happened. The fact that our military, people that run exercises to simulate this happening, didn’t do anything to stop these attacks,...
