4. Summary: The book starts out with Alex Rider, a 14 year old boy returning to school after three weeks of being “sick”. He was really sent on a mission as a spy by M16, the British Intelligence Agency. He just wishes to get back to his life and for things to be normal again. A few weeks after he returns, M16 wants to send him on another mission, and he is forced to agree. He is to infiltrate an extremely private and expensive school, Point Blanc. It is for rich people’s kids who have caused so much trouble that the parents have no other way to control them, it is a reform school. He is to investigate the mysterious deaths of two rich men who sent their kids to the school. His cover is that he is a very rich and powerful man’s son, and lives with the man for a few days. A helicopter driven by the school’s assistant director, Mrs. Stellenbosch. They fly away and stay at Paris for a night. Alex is drugged, photographed head to toe for every detail of his body, and then is replaced in his room. He doesn’t know that anything happened. The next day they arrive at Point Blanc, which is located on a high mountain peak
5. Reaction: I am finding this book very fun to read, and I feel that the author tells the story perfectly. The Photographing part seems to be foreshadowing danger ahead.

4. Summary: Alex arrives at Point blank, and finds that it is a very weird school. He goes to meet the Director of the school, Dr. Grief. The rules are that he cannot leave his dorm at night, and is not allowed on the 3rd and 4th floor. All but one of the students seems the same yet different, which confuses Alex. His one friend James has plans of escaping while all the others seem perfectly happy. After a few days Alex sneaks out of his room at night and sees James being dragged off kicking and...
