"Using Google Drive To Facilitate A Blended Approach To Authentic Learning." British Journal Of Educational Technology 44.4 (2013): 594-606. Academic Search Premier. Web. 14 Oct. 2013. This text does a great job to explain what, how, and why technology can be used in the classroom to achieve learning objectives and further education with the help of extra computer based learning. Rowe says that “Learning with the help of technology has been proven to be very valuable to students that struggle with learning and students that want to stay ahead”. This study was done in 2012 at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. Even though this study was done on a different continent, the information and research is still valid to North America. The researchers split up the students into two groups. One group used Google Drive, which is a free device from Google that allows live real-time editing, commenting, and instant communication and feedback, and the second group didn’t use any device. This entire study was conducted because some external examiners found that the students lacked critical thinking and reasoning skills in their final exams. This source seems very reliable, not only because it is a very recent topic, but also it is from the British Journal of Educational Technology. The British Journal of Educational Technology is a peer reviewed journal and is considered to be very reliable by other journals. This paper gives notes on what the researchers already know about this topic, what this paper adds to the topic, and what implications might be present for this paper. They hit all of the points that they said they would and made it easy for the reader to follow their reasoning.
