The effective scene I have chosen was the scene were Eddie and Mickey are arguing due to Mickey disagreeing to the amount of help and support Eddie is giving since Mickey comes out off prison and comes out very depressed Mickey dose not like the amount off support and due to this has a very serious argument with his wife Linda this Leeds to Mickey storming out with a fully loaded pistol in his hand. Linda sea this and assures Miss Johnston about what happening. In the mean time Eddie is at work and is confronted by a very unstable Mickey. Eddie can do nothing about the state that mickey is in except apologise and convince him that he is not after his wife. Mickey does not believe anything that Eddie is saying so he begging’s to threaten him with the gun. Miss Johnston walks in just ass Mickey is threatening him and see the gun in his hand and is so afraid that Mickey is going to pull the trigger that she shouts out they are brothers. Mickey is so surprised but yet still angry that he accidently pulls the trigger which leads to the police shooting Mickey these results in both of their deaths and the myth coming true. Throughout this scene I think that all characters show good body language and farcical exspretion Mickey body language worked really well and showed distress and anger all the way through it this scene worked very well. This scene bring to light that Eddie and Mickey have grown up and that there life’s have become very serious. I also like the way Mickey show and tell Eddie that they are not eight year old boys any more.
I without a doubt belive that the most effective actor was Mickey I believe this for many different reasons one of them being throughout the play he was the actor that spent the most time with just him in front of the audience. I think the way he act engages with the audience I think he dose this very well in the scene where he has just come out of prison on anti depressant pills. He uses his emotional side to make you feel sorry...
