After completion of seven habits profile, the result shows that I am “Out-Standing” in five categories, “Very Good” in three categories and “Good” in one category. From the result obtained, I can conclude that I need some adjustment to be done om my leadership styles or practices. To better reflect on the result, I will analysis it category by category.
Category 1 – Emotional Bank Account.
Despite the fact that I was graded “very Good” in this category, I can see the area that I need to improve because “out-standing” is obtainable. For instant, showing kindness and consideration towards others can be improved. Sometimes I withdraw from doing this due to the fact that they are being paid for the job and showing too much kindness and consideration may make the workers take me and the job for granted. The indication of this is that I am more of transactional leader.
Category 2 – Life Balance.
Me having the lowest score (10) in the category is not a surprise at all. This shows that I do not have much activities after work. It is an area I been having difficulty for some time. My life pattern is mostly work – Home – Church. This implies that I did not have friend outside work, I put work over all without a balance. I need to work on this in order to have perfect work – life balance.
Category 3 – Be Proactive
This category I was rated “Very Good”. I am proactive leader, I always champion company mission and achieve goals more often and with greater ease. Time taken in preparation of plan for any situation that may arise in the course of duty pay off every...
