Career Goals Essay
When I was younger I wanted to be a football player and nothing else. Since my mom signed me up at the age of 6 I just couldn’t get enough. I wouldn’t miss a day of practice and come game day I would be more than ready for the opposition. Then watching how the pros did it just pushed me over the edge with excitement and love for the game.
Since then my goals haven’t really changed but so much, the thing now is I realize that it’s going to be a lot harder achieving that goal. You have to go that extra mile each day as you reach new heights of the game and school will begin to take a major role as well, so I more so still want that success even if it’s through football. Maybe I could develop a successful career in one of my other talents, being my literal or artistic skills. Either way these options have the potential to bring me great happiness, as well as success.
I would like to attend the University of Southern California, while some may see this dream as being farfetched nothing would make me happier than to step foot on their campus. Their program on and off the field is wonderful, having a four star academic rating with a traditional five star football team. The classes I would like to take would probably involve animation and digital arts or American studies and ethnicity (African American studies). In order to get there I’ll need a whole lot of hard work and dedication, and maybe a little assistance from my football talents, and hopefully receive a substantial amount of grants or financial aid.
The qualities that will enable me to reach my goals are unbiased thoughts, and a cordial yet audacious attitude. I should remember to keep a positive mindset, and keep my goals intact, because at any moment I can get caught up in the wrong situation.
