Children and adults.
Someone said: The person lives until six? But what happens after it?
And after it you can be confronted with difficulties of the life that surrounds you. That's why you should use any ways to manage with them. But when you are small?
Childhood is mostly happy time of your life when you don't know what lie, need and sorrow are. You needn't to think, how to cope with any difficulties, because you have trustworthy defenders. These people will protect you from any hardship, they will manage with it themselves and won't involve you in those strange accidents. Certainly, it's your parents.
Furthermore your big protectors will guard you from just learning what the evil is and won't allow you to cope with it. Not because they don't give credence to you, but because you're too fragile and delicate to deal with it. They must worry about you.
And what happens if children are involved in their parents problems? Something that is really terrible!
Children meet this unpredictable world that haven't mercy on them, that can easily break them, that deprive them carelessness and joy and give them nothing in help.
Parents must care about their children, they must stop them if they make any mistakes. Actually it is rather difficult for me to imagine if anything can be done the other way.
But in the dramatic short story "The rocking horse winner" by D.H. Lawrence we can see how child can suffer from the adults' problems and then from their carelessness.
Paul, the child, decided to try to help his mother to get more money, but he didn't know that it couldn't be easy and there couldn't be enough money at all. But he was trying and trying until he went off his head, until his death. Paul's death is as a result of negligence on his mother's part and on the part of his uncle, Oscar. No one prevented him from that misfortune, no one stopped him on time.
And even that this story is like a shockingly disturbing tale of a mother's absent affection for her...
