The name of the interviewee is Kaushal, around 3 months back he bought mobile manufactured by HTC, the model number is Desire 526, the duration of the interview is around 20 minutes, and interview was conducted on 03rd October 2015.
Kaushal had spend nearly 2 months doing the analysis of various phones available in the market both through online media and through his friends. He compared nearly 6 to 7 phones in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs. 15,000.
He seems to be happy with the purchase and enjoying the new found freedom he got by having the smartphone, earlier he was having the basic phone with not much feature. He was able to check his emails on the go, remain connected with his friends, up to date with the latest happening around the world with the various application available on the Android mobile platform. During the interview, he shared that he used to spend hours on his laptop doing the same work and it was very tiring task.
He wanted to have a phone from a good brand with good camera, latest OS. He was happy with the camera but also revealed that if the camera had been of 13MP, that would have made him much happier, he was happy with the overall quality, feature and also with the performance of the phone.
He told had the lesser known brands have phones in the market with the better camera and feature but since he wanted a phone from a good brand so he bought HTC phone.
In one hand he wanted to have a phone from a good brand but at the same time he liked the phone from other lesser known brand that had better features but since he was much more brand conscious so avoided the phone from lesser known brands.
When he bought the phone the basic need was to have good smartphone with good camera, as he started using the phone, he used various apps like Whatsapp, email, Skype, TOI which only helped to remain connected with his family and friends, at the same he remained up to date with the latest happening around him.
