FOREWORD

It has been quite some years; this important topic was made as a compulsory project for all participants of the Diploma in Palm Oil Milling Technology and Management.

A remarkable effort has been made by most of them to MPOB where huge technical data, information and practices were made known and presented and will definitely benefit the industry and the nation in order to preserve and make this world a better place to live.

I take this opportunity to present my findings in one of the most modern and technological driven palm oil mill; POMTEC, in Labu, Negeri Sembilan, where new concept and environmentally friendly method of steam generation, especially in Palm Oil Mills being applied.

Hopefully, the information, data’s, advice and all its content will be applied or considered by users of palm waste fired boilers in the industry.
