In the past, many classical approaches proved that the internal communication was one-way communication providing information to employees from the top management (Tourish & Hargie 2009, Miller 2012). Besides, the majority of communication flows from these classical theories were downward in term of orders and rules from top management (Miller 2012). Furthermore, there was lack of feedback that comes from employees at the bottom to top management (Miller 2012). Therefore, to be effective communication, the organization cannot only use one-way communication but also needs to apply the new concept of authentic dialogue that will address barriers to learning as well as encourage managers and staffs to communicate in balance (Mazutis & Slawinski 2008). This essay will investigate how dialogue will improve the leadership communication in organization to be effective and efficient. Specifically, this paper will focus on the drivers of effective communications that leaders should incorporate in order to be good communicators. Those communication drivers that are the importance of listening skill, the role of feedback; the emotional awareness; the importance of using nonverbal communication; the importance of managing stress in conversions; and the effective communication skills for cultural diversity, that will be consider as the important factors to be effective leadership communication.

According to Eisenberg, Goodall, & Tretheway (2009) defined the dialogue is a communication tools in balance between people in organization. Besides, other authors mention that dialogue will be a communication tool that support the flow of learning in open, transparent and balanced communication, which have a big effect among people in organization to learn how to modify the errors (Mazutis & Slawinski 2008).
