Dreams Come True
My dream is to live in a log cabin with a stretch of property a mile long surrounded by a massive garden full of flowers and trees. Living in the city with all the busy cars and rushing loud mouth people would not fit in the category for my dream home. It should be located 10 miles away from town with nothing but my family and natures beauty surrounding me. In this atmosphere I am allowed to find happiness and peace within. Despite the calmness of nature outside of my home, the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms will all be filled with loud colors and personality.
Right beyond the entrance to my house sits an immense brick fireplace burning like a bonfire on the wall to the right. On top of it, a “55’ flat screen TV is hooked up to the surround sound rumbling like the movie theater. Turquoise covers the walls. The white leather sectional is wrapped around the corner in the left. Just big enough for my family to cuddle up on cold winter nights and watch a movie. A crystal clear coffee table is placed before it. Beyond the living room, just in front of the kitchen is an aquarium filled with brackish fish and discus. It stands from the ceiling to the ground and 5 foot in width. My own personal ocean.
My kitchen is every chef’s dream. The C-shaped Island with black marble countertops and a mahogany wood base will be complete with a built in grill. This is where my husband will spend most of his time entertaining our guest like they do at my favorite restaurant Fuji’s. For food placement there is a walk in pantry for my kids to run in and grab a snack after school. Next to the pantry is the stainless steel side by side refrigerator. On the wall behind the island is the sink with a window above for me to outlook my garden while doing chores. Beside the sink, a double oven is placed for baking on birthdays and special occasions. With everything in this room it will be perfect for a family get together.
