This website discusses various avenues in order to help students learn English quickly. The association was established to help advance the success of students with disabilities and serve as an avenue for educators who serve the special needs population. There were various components within this site that I thought was very beneficial in helping others become more effective in help students with professional development, learning opportunities, and stable lifestyles here in the US and abroad.
I thought the National Association of Bilingual Education was beneficial, through this site was the opportunity for personal growth. This site offers various reason for learning to improve the educational outcomes of students with exceptionalities. The website covers wide range of issues such as Special Education classrooms that would keep the student isolated away from the general population. In the real world you must be able to socialize without barriers. That is what this website promotes
The information in the article “Twisted Tongues: The Failure of Bilingual Education’ gave a testimonial view of the downfalls of bilingual students. There are various opinions that would deter from becoming bilingual. This website offers web forum that allow people to vent about the negative part of trying to utilize the system on children. It offers solutions that will allow the children to continue the teaching of the native language.
While the other website offered more of a positive reason to use bilingual education the website “Alternatives to Bilingual Education” offered an opinion that caters to not learning a second language at all.
