In today’s modern life, people have a lot of facilities which make life easier for example, with the help of mobile phones, we can communicate with others whenever we want and wherever we are. Similarly motor vehicles help us travel fast and comfortably. However, we can see many unhappy people when we look around. This general state of unhappiness is called stress, and problems of modern life. Naturally, people look for ways of relieving stress in order to feel happy. In fact, taking up a hobby, doing sports and travelling can be mentioned as the main ones.
The first way is taking up a hobby. When people do hobby, they forget about their problems because they have to concentrate on something completely different. For example, while they are painting, they have to focus on colors and images. In this way, their minds get away from their daily problems and they feel relaxed.

Today many people prefer doing sports to relieve stress, and they are right to do that because it is scientifically proven fact that our brain increases the production of serotonin which is a hormone which creates a feeling of happiness. Therefore, we see that people who do sports generally look happier than others.
The final way is travelling when people travel to different places, they meet new cultures. This helps them have different approach to life. As a result of this, they usually start to think positively and relieve stress.
In short, we can point out taking up a hobby, doing sports and travelling as the main ways of relieving stress. It is obvious that people should spend time and energy to get rid of stress. However, it is worth sparing the necessary amount of time and energy, so it is advisable for people to create some free time and to spare some energy, no matter how busy they are.
