Fight for What’s Right!
Freedom is why we came to the new land, right? A chance for a fresh start in a new place: a chance for a better life then what we had before; a chance for a new beginning to do what we want. However, do we have the freedoms we came to the new land looking for? No, we have none of that!
But why would you want listen to me, anyway? I'm just a normal every day person, that farmer from down the road. I'm just a regular guy, trying to live a regular life, and that's the reason why you should listen to me because I'm just like you. I'm a rich, high-class, stuck up person who thinks I have more power and freedom than you just because I have more money. I'm not a king who thinks that everything has to be my way. I'm exactly like you, and I'm saying that regular people like you and I deserve the freedom and rights we came here for!
Many say that Britain is the parent country to all the colonies in the new land. That was very true at one point or another. She took us under her wing like a mother would do for her child and helped get us on our own two feet. Do the wild beasts of the land eat their own young? NO! Neither do the savage Indians of the Americas make war upon their own tribes and families. The mother land has betrayed us. The king has denied and refused to pass other laws that would benefit our colonies greatly and would be for the people. He taxes us on senseless things that were not relevant. He taxes our tea that we drink every day, and then he gets mad at us for revolting and not wanting to pay taxes on our tea? What did he think would happen, he knew that we would boycott against all of these taxes. His troops that he sends over here, that are supposed to protect us. What did they do? They shot and killed us; they fired into an innocent crowd of boys and teenagers throwing snowballs at the British troops. Then they get off easy with barely get any punishment given, because they are the kings soldiers. What...
