THE NIGHT I WASN’T SUPPOSED TO SEE

The Night I Wasn’t Supposed To See
When I was twelve years old we went over to a relative house for Saint Patrick Day for a party, and my cousins and I where upstairs playing. I remember falling asleep and when I woke up I realize I wasn’t in my bed. So I went downstairs to see where my parents were, and there was an intruder in the house everything was all over the place. He was in my relative bedroom. And we made eye contact when I approached him he gave me a look as if he could kill me for walking in on him, and seeing what he was doing.
I ran back upstairs with my other relatives they were all still sleeping so I got in between my oldest relative and throw the cover over my head and prayed that he wouldn’t get me. He reached to pull the cover off me and he just froze the best way I can described what happen was it was like something big stood behind him which I believe it was an angel. Then all of a sudden he turned around and ran out of the house and can you believe no one would wake up during this whole process.
My parents returned shortly after that. I ran downstairs to tell them what happen because they had seen the house in a mess and wanted to know what went on. I told them what had happen and they called the police, and they came out and did a report. I had to go to the police station the next day to look at some suspects. I had identified the person who was in the house and to my surprise he was a friend of my relatives, and he also boxed for the police department. I was so afraid when I had to pick him out because they had him in the same room with me I think they were trying to intimidate me into not saying anything, because we all know you’re not supposed to put a twelve year old in the same room with a suspect .
