About six years ago I discovered that my mother was pregnant with her third child. She did not want to keep the baby, for she could barely support my sister and I. Both of us (my sister and I) wanted my mother to keep the baby, however she did not change her mind. My mother often thought of abortion, but later decided on adoption. Well, the months went by and my mother?s stomach grew larger. I would often find her crying in her bedroom, sometimes even when she was cooking dinner. Every night I would hear her pray to God to give her the strength she needed. She would talk to God and repeat, ?Please help me? over and over again. I remember feeling so sad. My mother was in so much pain. I was only eleven so I did not really understand what she was going through. During her eighth month she made an important decision. She decided to keep the baby. My sister and I were so happy. I remember the day she told us. We were in the living room and we were watching an old movie.
