Agriculture is a primary resource in today’s world just like it was in our past. Agricultural development is a major issue when talking about the people and culture of Africa. When people are starving in a world that has the resources to stop it, then something needs to be addressed. If we are going to prevent nationwide famine and starvation, then politicians and regular people are going to need to unite and hash out the problem together. Agricultural development in Africa can will happen when natives are given all of the information, help, and tools to grow successful crops and not be in dire situations of starvation and malnutrition. The agricultural development also needs to be a combined effort from all groups and sects of people for anything to succeed.
Environmental issues
Environmental issue is a popular term used when humans and environments clash. Environmental issues fall into two broad categories. First, when a society impacts the environment, and second, when an environmental event impacts negatively on a society Like droughts, hurricanes, tsunamis, or volcanic eruptions.1 A lot of the environmental issues that are happening in Africa are by people who are trying to extract resources from the earth, and there is no laws or codes in place to replace or protect what they are taking. Deforestation is one of those issues. The large scale falling of trees and the resulting decreases in forest areas are the main environmental challenges of the African Continent. Rampant clearing of the forests continues for agricultural needs, settlement, and fuel or energy needs. Ninety percent of Africa’s population requires wood to use as fuel for heating and cooking.2 As a result, forested areas are decreasing daily.
