Have you ever noticed that why people play games and sports? Of course, many people do not know the actual reasons of that. As water and food are necessary for our life same is the relation of sports and games with our health. People who don’t take interest in such healthy activities of sports remain lazy and they remain under some stress. Usually sports and games are used together as a single term but there is difference between them with respect to their importance. Game is such an activity which gives us mental strength for instance when playing chess, monopoly and scrabble etc, our mind activity is involved very much. On other hand, sports are those activities which make us bodily and physically strong such as football, cricket, swimming and running. Importance of games and sports is numerous. They develop the personality, make us mentally and physically strong, it also develop spirit of healthy competition, strengthen our morality, socialize our lives, teach good decision making and can also play a good role in creating peace between nations. Events of Olympic and Asian games are also organized to explore the benefits of sports.

Mostly games and sports are divided into two major types. One is indoor games and other one is outdoor games. Indoor games are those activities which are played in enclosed places or buildings, in social or family situations, when weather is worse, rainy, and stormy and such situations that don’t allow people to move outside of their homes for playing games. Indoor games include table tennis, bowling, snooker, carom board, chess, playing cards and badminton etc. On the other hand, outdoor games are those activities which are played in open areas and grounds. For example such places are only specified for playing outdoor games usually their grounds are very vast even in kilometers.
