Before I begin with my speech I would like you all to think about something. Think about something that you really are good at, something that you can do better than anyone else any day. And now, imagine how easy life would be if you were to do this throughout your life and be paid for it. Isn’t it awesome? Well, obviously it is. And you are not the only one to land up in a shoe that doesn’t fit you. Every year about 15-20% of the students realize that they have committed a mistake in choosing their careers. Some students don’t even realize what they are good at and others have might chose to stick with whatever their parents want them to do. In any case, it is the student who has to suffer. Further, the system of education in our country is such that it really doesn’t allow the student to decide what his area of expertise or rather his area of interest is.
