Introduction
This report is about what had the writer done in the past two years, and the outcome that result of the learning process.

Personal drive and effectiveness
While attended the CPD lecture and discussion on the prepared case, the lecturer provided clear instructions and motivation on the key case discussion for us, to solve the case surrounds different HR issues. Every student should demonstrate their HR knowledge and skills to solve the problems existed in the cases. Group discussions were the main part of progress. Motivating any group of people to continue to achieve can be a significant challenge. Material incentives are often rarely enough to keep people striving to improve. The activities drove me to be active express opinions, cooperated with my partners, and practice what I had learnt before. Some theories and models had generated the output of the answers. At the same time, some partners were performed quite passive and resting, they should pay more attention to them. Conversely depending on a few key players to energise and motivate people can be risky. Some of them was influenced the group performance. Refer to the workplace; the most effective approach is for everyone to motivate themselves. Whatever, people should drive themselves to work with others actively; everyone’s performance will also affect the whole result in the teamwork. This CPD lesson brings this kind of reflection for me.

People management and leadership
I had performed duties in MTR Corporation as a Station Assistant (SA) last year; it brought me a lot of benefits and experience for my life.
