In many cases to show what two variables that have similar interest to types of research to help put two together. The types of research to help build a relationship between two variables are correlational and experimental research. Correlational research is defined as the relationship between two variables. Two scenarios that experimental research can’t be used is the jangle of the ice cream sound gets loud as the ice cream truck gets closer and another one is a student that study for a test and receive a good grade on the test. Experimental research is defined as guided by educated guesses that guess the result of the experiment. Two scenarios that correlational research can’t be used is the putting helium into a balloon and taking two groups of body builders, one consuming supplement and the other not. A correlational design is part of the non-experimental research design. The reason it is non-experimental is because it does not involve manipulating the variable of interest. The correlational design simply aims to determine the relationship between two variables, as well as how strongly these variables relate to one another. As the following example of correlational, where the louder the jingle gets the closes the ice cream trucks get closer. In the correlations research, the way research method have showed the relationship with two variables are the kids who listen for the ice cream truck as they travel down the street. For these variables, they can’t be change or alter regardless of the situation. In the experiment research, the variables can changer or alter the solution and the outcome of a situation depend on the variables. One of the examples I used for experiment research, that were research methodology used is the two group of body, one group uses supplement and the other doesn’t.
