Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Makes sure that the line is well stocked and the products are thawed out and readily available to cook.
2. Cooks, plates, and garnishes food following the Benningan’s recipe and in a sanitary and timely manner.
3. Maintains a clean and sanitized workplace
4. Sweeps the line and keeps the floor clean
5. Follows the prep sheets and makes sure every product is prepped, portioned in the right amount, and dated accordingly.
6. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, freezers, and other storage areas.
7. Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the supervisor or manager at any time.
8. Line cook may be required to assist in the training and development of new employees
