Good Sport is a manufacturing company that produces fitness equipment that can be used in gyms and fitness centers. This equipment is top line fitness equipment that most athletic people would be looking for to use. The company has been in business for around 15 years, which is organized by James Poole who is the chairperson and founder.
Overview of Company
Good Sports head office is located in Coral Springs, Florida. They are manufacture fitness equipment business that was founded by Jason Poole a prior basketball player. The company manufactures fitness equipment such as treadmills, steppers, exercise bikes and rowers. They are also expanding to other locations in North Carolina and Georgia. Jason Poole has been the current Chairman of the Board for the past 15 years, with the assistance of Marvin Wallace, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Marvin has been improving and leading the company’s performance of sales, production and the research and development department for the past four years.
Leadership and Culture
Any business as big as Good Sport will have different culture and nationalities, establishments, leadership styles that the company has built on, they can evaluate what best fits into their organization. With the many different types of organizational structures that are defining this organization. They are centralization and participative leadership style. Centralization is the process by which activities of an organization, usually those regarding decision-making, become concentrated within a particular department and group.
