When I look back on my childhood, I can see many experiences that have shaped me into who I am today. I believe that every experience, whether it is positive or negative, has an effect on our life. Our development in childhood can affect the way we think, act, feel, and behave. Inever thought I would be 41 years old and writing a paper like this. I had planned to go to college right after high school, but life does not always happen according to plan. In this paper, I will present a brief description of some of my life experiences that have helped shape the person I am today and I will analyze some of these experiences using the adult development theories from this class. I will also look ahead to the goals I want to accomplish in the future. My growth and development over the years has happen as a result of support from my family, my friends, and educational experiences.
I grew up with my family on a farm. My mom had to get up every morning do chores before going to school.
