Nominated for more than 10 awards with all his great music, Lil Wayne has accomplished so much in his 13 year career and still has much more for him in his future. Lil Wayne is one of the most famous people living on earth today, and he is so famous because of his perfection in his career and how he does it so well.
First, who is Lil Wayne? Lil Wayne was born Dwayne Micheal Carter Jr. on September 27th in 1982. Jocita Carter, the mother of Dwayne, was living in New Orleans Louisiana when she borned Dwayne. Dwayne was raised in New Orleans and attended school in New Orleans as well. Dwayne Got into a lot of trouble in his school life, Dwayne quoted, “I honestly never skipped school to hustle because I hustled in school. That is where it’s at.” Hustling or selling drugs was a way for a young person could make money and that’s what Dwayne did. Dwayne loved hip-hop music growing up, it inspired him so much he decided to start rapping on the streets, free styling within his friends hoping one day to become big Dwayne was young, but was a great freestyler and free styling is when someone puts words together to rhyme them off the top of there head. Dwayne was just eight years old when he started rapping, but he wasn’t shy about his passion or nervous in front of other people. In fact, Dwayne loved having an audience and like many other artists he started rapping at block parties. Dwayne said, “Nobody ever looked at me as a little kid rapper-just a [punk] kid.” The only way to be a kid where Dwayne grew up was to be a punk.
