Officer was advised by the medical staff at Methodist Healthcare of possible symptoms if not taken care of immediately. Officer on 12/18/13 started experiencing the symptoms and called in sick and proceeded to notify a physician at Family Physicians Group at 7685 Winchester. The staff made officer an appointment on 12/23/13 to see a physician about his medical condition. On 12/23/13 officer was at the facility at 7685 Winchester when Lt. Ross came by officers residence and that is why officer was not at his residence when Lt Ross came by.
