Marriages
Men and women communicate and think differently in marriages, this can lead to many problems in their relationship. Men think more like slots and women think more openly. To explain more “Men tend to mentally separate and store information in very organized yet completely separate compartments, like in a file-cabinet-drawer system” and “Women tend to do the complete opposite, cognitively connecting things up, seeing life’s events more globally.” For example, when a man gets into a disagreement with their wife and she brings up things that occurred in the past, it’s because she can relate whatever happened in the argument to something in the past.
In communication, men like to get straight to the point and that’s it, not a lot of details to whatever there saying or hearing. Women on the other hand like to put a lot of details into what they are saying. As women like to put more details into their conversations it can cause many problems, because the husband may get aggravated with their wife’s details in stories or conversations. As he would want to her to get straight to the point and she would want him to be more detailed when explaining things, it can cause them to fight with each other.
Workplace
In jobs, women and men differ on how they communicate in their work place. Men tend to be able to pick up on one of their workers anger or aggression. Women are able to pick up on any emotion that their workers go through. This can affect both the man and women, because it helps for the woman to understand these emotions and be able to comprehend the worker and help them through their problems. In men it can be hard for them and they are often called “cold”, for they are not able to understand those other emotions that the workers may go through.
