Wow! This documentary opened my eyes to a whole new view of the wars that America has been in within the past years. Going into Iraq there were two wars going on, one with the Soldiers and the other with Journalists which was known as the Media War. I had no idea that there was so much tension between reporters and the soldiers as the war was going on which really surprised me. In fact, Soldiers thought reporters lost the war for them in Vietnam, not the military. After learning that I thought it was a little suspicious how in the Gulf War, most American casualties were killed in action by friendly fire. Later on, Saddam Hussein was targeted and captured by American forces and the media was all over that. I also found it very intriguing that there was a news channel called “best of the bombs” that watched all the bomb explosions of war. This gave people viewing at home a sense of what the war was like over there in Iraq however this was only such a little piece of what was really going on. The media just wanted to capture the big, explosive, eye catching things that would get viewers to watch. Military entertainment also known as “militainment”, was often wrong and faulty to make the war and battles look more appealing to the viewers. This made many people think certain things were actually happening when they really...
