Disneyland, in Anaheim, California is a popular tourist destination. It boasts approximately 58 rides for children of all ages. But, it is not just the rides that create this enchanted world as you enter the gates. This place, separate from the real world just steps from its parking lot, allows one to go back in time, dodge danger on adventurous rides, to fall in love with our favorite Disney stories all over again, and most importantly, it allows us all to find the child within ourselves. If only, for a moment.
As you walk through the immeasurable gates to the entrance of the park, you can see the grounds filled with parents, hyperactive children and hysterical babies all waiting for the same thing, to go exploring straight into the park. As you got ready to enter you are overwhelmed into a magical kingdom where you can sail the seas with the pirates, meet the most elegant and dazzling, yet delicate princess and rocket threw the skies. To me, this is the most appealing and splendid amazing life changing place on earth where many memories are created and also brought out. The overwhelming feelings of what to do first is over taken by the various smells floating through the air of warm corndogs, crisp wings and of course all the sugary sweets. All the excitement brought out the inner child in me. I couldn’t wait to join the thousands of others on the most exciting thing in the world, letting yourself become a kid again where it was allowed.
Have you ever been to Africa, Asia, or even South America? I have, on my favorite ride at Disneyland, The jungle cruise. From the time you step onto the boat till the end of the ride you are engulfed into the wild jungle atmosphere. As you sail through the gloomy dark smelly treacherous waters filled with dark green jaw chomping alligators ready to attack. During your unforgettable adventures you are taken by the musky wet smell of the forest, the high shrills of the baboons...
