Recently in English we completed “Who Am I” packets. This packet consisted of a psychological test, a left/right brain activity, learning styles, and Myers/Briggs personality profile. Through completing these tests. I have learned that left brained. Being left brain are the reason I act and do the thing I do. There is quote that goes like “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” This quote shows me that even though other people are left brain I am me and these other activates showed me how I am different
While working on the Hemispheric Mode Indicator I had to rank things like outlook and insight on a mini scale to how I felt which one applied to me the most. By adding up all the number I was given a negative number. This is where I found out I was left brained which I pointed out before. Now it is stated that people that are left brains recognize parts, processes items one by one and sees detail. Also that they prefer talking and writing and that they problem solve by logic and sequentially looking at the parts if things. One thing that even though the mode indicator told me I am left brain while reading down the list of things left brain people are, I stopped when is read “Is planned and structured” I thought for a second “Hey I am very planned and structured!” Planned and structured is my life. I must be planned and structured throughout my day or I would forget everything and be a total mess at the end of the day. For example, in school usually students bring something to write what they have for homework in; well when after I have everything written down I must put it in the order that I am going to do it in. And think about what will take me the most time, what will take me the least time and what time I should be done with what homework. I have tried not doing that one time and I ended up starting the homework but never finishing because I would just jump to the next one mid-way through.
