In Her Shoes is a movie about losing love. No one knows about the dynamics of death on people’s lives and their family. The only way to understand is to have it happen to you. It’s amazing how tides between families are broken. When a death of a family member happen the support to others die. It’s like all the care for one another dies with the deceased. It becomes a one for all blood bath of emotions. Grief is an intense life event that is full of strong feelings and sometimes pain. In Her Shoes has all of that displayed by the family in the movie.
This great movie starts out with the younger sister named Maggie at her ten year High School reunion. Maggie is not being seen doing something great at her reunion but rather being piss drunk and getting frisky with Todd. She even states that she has nothing going on in her life to be proud. So she decides to use sex with random guys to make her feel good.
The older sister known as Rose works for a law office as a lawyer and is the responsible one. The first time you see Rose she is a messy it is obvious that she lacks self worth. She works long hours at the firm because she has no life, there is no one at home waiting for her. This all changes when she bumps into the hot lawyer at the firm (so she thinks) and gets swept up in his charm.
