National Platforms of the Democratic and Republican Parties

The Republican and Democratic National Party’s platforms sometimes overlap and sometimes they completely disagree. The Republican platform focuses more on the businesses and how they should be pleased in order for it to trickle downward to the people. While the Democratic platform focuses on middle classes and how to please the majority of people.
Democratic Platform discusses the economy and how minimum wage should be increased and the expanding of the childcare tax credit. The Democrats also address poverty and woman and how fair pay acts and other measures would be enforced in order to fight the rising poverty population. After school programs would also begin to receive double the funding from the government and reward teacher who are effective. The Republican Platform discusses reducing taxes on businesses so the businesses have more time producing and selling their services rather than wasting their very busy schedule making millions to pay taxes. They will ban internet access taxes and stop new cell phone taxes. They will also improve education by ending social promotion and merit pay for great teachers.
The Democratic and Republican Platforms both agree on the need to use a different energy sources. They both agree that America must stop depending on fossil fuels from over sees that is helping their economy while lowering ours. Fossil fuels also create harmful greenhouse gases that destroy the ozone and begin using alternative, renewable energy such as solar, wind and geothermal. They both understand that it will take millions upon billions of dollars to create jobs and facilities that create such energy but it’s in the best interest of Americans who spend billions at the gas pumps each year and whose food costs are rising.
