Many people wonder why juice fruits and vegetables when you could just eat them. Although eating an apple or a carrot can give you nutrition, but you would need to eat 2 lbs. of carrots, 12 apples, and 8 lbs. of spinach to get the same amount nutrients in a 16 oz. glass of juice. If people just drink one juice a day they would be getting one or more serving of both fruits and vegetables. Not only does juice taste great it has many advantages such as it gives you energy, boost your brain, helps you sleep better, and many more. Juicing can help one’s health and can be fundamentally beneficial to them.
There are many advantages to juicing, it helps people physically and mentally. There are all different kinds of fruits and vegetable that gives you all different kind of vitamins and nutrients in them. Juicing can giving someone and energy boost in the morning or a calming affect at night, depending on what is put into the juice. Researchers at Wake Forest University have found that beetroot juice can increase blood flow to the brain, which can lead to better brain health and help ward off dementia and cognitive decline (Gernay). Also it helps detoxify your system, environmental toxins can enter your body through many different ways such as the mouth, nose, and skin. Nutrients that are found in low-pulp juice helps sweep the pollutants out of one’s system (Gernay). The have been many studies done by the Minerva Institute for Medical Research that shows the nutrients that are found in juices, such as resveratrol, can keep cells from prematurely dying (Gernay). This mean that people who juice daily are not only healthier and happier, but they live longer!
