Our environment is it safe what has happened to it. There are many changes that have happen are we going back in time well, before we can understand global warming, we have to understand what the greenhouse effect is, and how they differ. The greenhouse effect is the name applied to the natural process which causes the surface of the Earth to be warmer than it would have been in the absence of an atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is like a thermal blanket which traps heat emitted from the Earth surface, thereby warming and insulating the Earth. Without the natural greenhouse effect, the Earth’s climate would be about 60 degrees cooler, and many living things including humans, would not be able to survive. Global warming is the name given to an expected increase in the magnitude of the greenhouse effect, where the surface of the Earth will almost inevitably become hotter than it is now. The greenhouse effect, unlike global warming, is not a danger to our planets well being.
Scientists believe that because of this increase in Greenhouse gases which contains oxygen which is good for us. According to scientist man has had many far-reaching effects on the environment over the years. Global warming, pollution and the damage to the ozone layer are a few of the major things that can be heard about in the news. We have damaged the earth gradually over the years and this damage cannot be reversed, we are now trying to stop any more damage being caused to the environment. For example, hedgerows have been destroyed but now people have realized what effects this is having on the environment the government are paying farmers to replant them instead of fencing. Not all of man's effects on the environment are harmful some are beneficial. Conservation work is going on across the country and this is helping to preserve the wildlife and countryside that we have left.
