This department in a business is responsible for the making of different promotional leaflets/brochures and other ways of communication between employees for example. This way, the promotion is advertised to other companies, sponsors and the employees working in the business.

Sainsbury’s has included offers online for their online website. This is to advertise to the more older target market as they would be the one’s purchasing alchol drinks. This advertisement would attract the audience of this target market to shop at Sainsburys as their offer is 25% on the selected wines and various alcohol drinks. The strengths of this business corporate communication is that it is very simple and has the detail that is needed for the customer to find out more and also know what the offer is about. The weakness of this offer is that it would attract the customer immediately as the text is an average size and would not stand out to the customer if they were to visit the website and view this advertisement. To make it more effective, I would improve the layout of the text and make it much more larger to view. This would make it stand out more and attract more of the users of the website. Although the advert is effective and explains what the offer is about, the improvement I have suggested would make it much more effective to the target audience of the product Sainsbury’s are advertising.
