Paper #2
We all know someone that has made a drastic impact in our lives and we can never thank them enough for what they did or what they do. A person that has changed my life in more ways than I can count is my mom. My mom has taught me lessons about school, faith, and just life in general.
My mom has always been my biggest role model ever since I was a little kid because she has raised me to become the person I am today, by her. My mom is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met in my life, she always seems to know whatever I am doing in school and can help me in what I’m having trouble with, she’s an especially good writer, she can always find a way to help out in the classroom. I will never be able to repay her for all of the things that she has done for me in my educational life, without her I would be spending hours longer on my homework and I would not have the grades I do today.
Another thing my mom has taught me about is our faith. Every Sunday morning from when I was as old as I can remember to this day we go to church to worship the lord. To this day I thank her for introducing me to the lord Jesus Christ.
When it comes to life lessons I cannot think of anyone who teaches them better than my mother. My mom has been through a lot growing up in the Bronx in New York to being abandoned by her mom at the age of 16. She is hand down the strongest human being I have ever met in my whole entire life. From being alone from the age of 16 to having a divorce and losing her son to Leukemia I have never seen her get down and never cheer up. She gets sad but not for very long, she gets over things quick because she knows that there is to much life to enjoy and the more time that you waste moping around about things that you cant change the more time you are losing to live an amazing life. This is the most powerful message she has ever taught me. Seeing her go through all of that but still have a positive attitude I don’t know how she does...
