Parenting

Everyone has their own perspective on how to be a good parent. Every child is raised differently. Some people have good relationships with their child and some do not. But everyone can always look back and remember all the great things that they’ve done with each other.
In the first passage it discusses how the little girls father was always working at a college university. Even though he was always at work he made sure he always has time for his daughter. He would let her rise her bike to a pool near the university. Everyday, whenever he had a break he would go walk down to the pool so his daughter could show him all the new things she has learned. He would support her in everything whether it was being able to swim in the deep end, or doing tricks off of the diving board.
This shows how a parent can always spare time for their child. Also how any time spent with your parent or child can create a memory for them. The little girl will be able to remember how her father always came to see her at the pool even though it was just for a little while. Also the father can look back and remember how even though he didn’t get to spend as much time with his daughter as he wanted; he still got to be there for her.
In the second passage it talks about how the mother watches her newborn baby fall asleep. Standing their watching over him resting makes her wonder what her baby is dreaming of. She says how her baby reminds her of planets. She says this because in space everything is calm and quiet which is compared to how her baby is sleeping. The mother will always be able to remember the look on her baby’s face while he is drifting off into his sleep.
Some parents wouldn’t go near the baby while it’s asleep because they are scared of waking him up. Some parents would leave their child at home while they go to work. But everyone shows their love to a child in different ways.
