How has your view concerning the topic you covered in your final project changed throughout this course?

When I first started this class I had not put a huge thought on wither or not the afterlife was important. I had some conversations from time to time but never really stopped to think about how the future could really affect how I live today. This is strange to me since I spend plenty of time planning my future. I am a person that usually knows where I am going and what I want done but thinking about after I have left this world was never at the top of my list.
This led me to two conclusions. The first is in relation to fortune tellers. I have heard people talk about wanting to know when they would die and the things they would do. I have concluded that I do not want to know when I am going to die. Although I am a person that likes to plan things out, I do not want to miss the experiences in this world. By knowing that type of information may change the way I would live my life and I could easily miss out on having kids or getting married. Both of those things I have done and would not take back.
To the people that do want to know, my hat is off to you. I would never say your decision is wrong but I will say that you will miss some things. I think back to the question, if you won the lottery would you go back to work the next day? This is the same as if I was dying tomorrow, what would I do?
The second conclusion I have is that philosophy is a huge play on words. What one word means to one person can be different to another. This I knew before the class but what I have added to this, or learned, is that although the meanings may be different people usually want the same thing in life. What is that? From my studies in this class it is to be needed. Again the word I used may not be the same that you would use but to me we all want have a purpose, a reason why we live our lives and no matter what happens after we leave this world, as long as we fulfill...
