Every human beings body is different in one way or another. There are so many things that make each body different, but at the same time unique. In this essay, I will try to describe as accurate as possible, my own feelings towards my own body and how others perceive me. As you probably would know, I am from an Asian background. As an Asian, there are many characteristics that my differ from lets say the ¡°white¡± peoples such as the color of the hair, eyes, shape of the nose, mouth, and body structure. My hair color is brownish-red although my natural color is black, my eyes are brown and they are a lot smaller then an average Canadian, the tip of my nose is flat whereas a Canadian an nose would be fairly pointy.
The structure of my body is small and skinny. I am about 5±10 in height and I weigh approximately around 150 pounds and this is due to the lack of muscles. I think my body contains more fat than muscles because muscle weighs more than fat, so this proves that I’m not working out enough and that I should start working out on a regular basis. There are a few things that I don’t like about my body.
The first one is my stomach. No matter how many sit-ups I do, the fat won’t disappear. Second, is my arms because it looks so weak and without muscles. But I like my head shape. It does not look deformed and it is shaped very well around my head. I think other people perceive me as a medium sized, skinny guy. Not too short and not too tall. They know I come from an Asian background and they can see that my characteristics are different from an averaged Canadians. Motivation, laziness is just some of the reasons why people are not physically active. There should also be proper funding in schools so that any physical activity can be followed through right to the end.
The children should participate in sports as early as possible so as to know the foundations of fitness. With that, they will be able to understand the importance of fitness and won’t have to...
