Should plastic surgery be available to the public? Women have been trying to make themselves look more attractive to satisfy the shallow desires of men. So, scientists have been coming up with insane ideas such as: the binding of feet in China, the extension of the ear lobes, and the elongation of the neck in Africa; however, studies show that in our society today, people fix their imperfections by doing plastic surgery. There are two basic reasons why people should not do plastic surgery. Firstly, the performance of plastic surgery is dangerous and there are always side effects. The surgery performed by doctors is not 100% successful and there is always room for error. Secondly, you should be happy for what you look like and not be too self-conscious.

The first thought is that plastic surgery is dangerous and expensive. Every surgery done to our body carries risks and can result in mistakes or even death. There are all kinds of plastic surgery such as: nose jobs, breasts enhancement, double eyelid surgery, face reconstruction, implants, and liposuction. Even though plastic surgery doesn’t involve handling the vital organs in the body, it is as dangerous as any other surgeries. Plastic surgery was first used to remodel broken bones and distorted features of the face such as connection of the lips to the nose. But surgeries were not designated to “perfect” humans remolding themselves for $4000 to $8000 so that they can feel better about it. Once the surgery is performed, there is no turning back.
