Cummings’ poem, "I carry your heart with me," is about deep, profound love, the kind that can keep the stars apart and that can transcend the soul or the mind. The overall mood is a heart touching poem and it’s an intense romantic poem. I like the poem because this type of love described is hard to find. I have chosen to include this in my poetry collection because when I heard this poem, I was touched by it and I wanted to share it.
