In this paper will explain the courtroom technology and the history of electronic courtrooms in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Which will describe and explain the benefits of the various types of technological advancements in digital court reporting, assisted listening, system, language interpreting system, infrared emitter, video/tel video conferencing system. Such others as document/video presentation station, evidence presentation station and touch screen annotation with in the courtroom systems. List at lest one other state with similar courtroom technology that has implemented in the U.S District Court and similar types of technological advancements that are being utilized by the court. In the next paragraphs which will explain the benefits of various types of technological and a brief history to describe each equipment use.
In this paragraph will explain the technology and history of electronic in courtrooms in Pennsylvania District Court. The begin of technology was back in July 1998, a clerk of court had requested design and funding authorization from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts in order to introduce electronic in the courtrooms in Pennsylvania District Court. A district judge and magistrate judge approve the use of introducing state of the art technology in which expediting the litigation process installation of the electronic capabilities during courtroom and substantial cost of saving. In the fall of 2001, there was three electronic courtrooms introduced with state of the art electronic. By 2004, brought them online which currently only 13 courtrooms have full electronic state of the art.
