What inspired my interest in returning to school? One of my ambitions in life was to achieve my four year college degree. After I graduated high school, I concluded that I had desire for education. Unfortunately, at that era in my life I was unable to attend due to financial constraints. For the past fourteen years the yearning to continue my education has had to lay dormant because of my life circumstances. I made up my mind to concentrate on attaining my goals which brought me to continue my education no matter what barriers I have to get over. I researched my options and reached the conclusion that continuing my education by enrolling to Ashford University Online was in my best interest.
I anticipate by returning to school, that a great deal of opportunities in my career will launch for me in upcoming employment and in my personal life. As a result of returning to school to continue my education, I will have an enhanced education and experience innovative courses that I would by no means have thought of taking in the duration of my life. My perspective on education has been broadened tremendously since the economic downfall. I am inspired from the notion of learning more interpersonal skills, team work with class members, faculty, and from the university personnel.
Time management has been one of my major obstacles since my enrollment. Being a single mother, full time employee, and a student has a predisposition to be overwhelming. Repeatedly I find myself not having enough hours in the day to achieve everything that needs to be accomplished. It is not a matter of procrastination; I just need to be more sufficient in allocating my time in smaller increments and alleviating unnecessary tasks. I am committed to being a successful and accomplishing my goals.
