Role models

Role models are highly important for us psychological world, since they are helping to guide us through life during our development, to make important decisions that affect the outcome of our lives, and to help us find happiness in later life.

I believe that in our public life the ones who have served as role models are our parents, followed by other immediate family and teachers. This is why it’s so important in these roles to provide a good role model. Also, having a role model can give a child focus in their lives and something to work towards. Often a role model has a character trait or job that your child desires to have. Because of the role model's example a child is more likely to work to achieve his goals.

Furthermore, a role model can inspire a child to dream big. Often circumstances make dreams seem impossible. A child who has no role model cannot imagine overcoming. A child whose role model has achieved can inspire a child to work harder and achieve their dreams. Those who often find success do so because they had a role model who inspired  them on to great things. Lastly, there are setbacks in every person's life. Knowing that someone else has overcome and achieved will help during the hard times, yet they were able to achieve their goals.

Closing up, men and women who got to the top were those who did the jobs they had in hand, with everything they had of energy and enthusiasm and hard work. People never improve unless they look to some standard or example higher and be better than themselves
