The scripture in which I have chosen to compare three concepts of our text book to will be Romans 15:5 & 6. The text of this scripture reads as follows: “Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. That ye with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The first concept that I have related this scripture is corporate social responsibility. This can be defined as a company that strives to for a balance between the economic responsibilities to rewards its shareholders and the legal responsibility to comply with the laws of the countries where it operates and the ethical responsibility to abide by a society’s norms and the discretionary philanthropic responsibility to contribute to the noneconomic needs of the society in which its in. Just like God’s ability to be patient as we all become like minded in the effort to serve him, this is a company’s effort to be like minded with their surrounding s in an effort to accommodate the individuals in which they are serving.
The second concept that I will relate this verse to is the Strategic management process. The strategic management process located on page 15 is comprised of different steps in which an individual must put together in order to help shape a company’s future effectively. This process involves all individuals who have a hand with the different steps of this process coming together and figuring out what works best to move ahead. Bringing both of these concepts together in relation to the scripture above, just as God wants us to come to him, with one voice and one mind with a strong unwavering faith in him, Businesses need to present the strategic management process and plans to move in to other countries with different views, with one solid view and voice that...
