Katherine Young – Aged 23
Michael Young – Aged 18
Mrs Young - Their Mother, headmistress
Mr Nichols – Teacher
Dieter – A German Soldier aged 26
Mark - Friend of Dieter and Katherine aged 17
Dr John – Doctor

Scene 1
At school, Katherine and Michael are talking to Mr Nichols. They are talking about helping Mrs Young their mother out of Jail, and what they can do to fix it.

Mr Nichols: Okay, okay you have convinced me! I will partly teach German for you and your mother.

Katherine: Yes! Yes! Thankyou Mr Nichols.

Michael: Thanks for helping us with our Mum!

Katherine: Come on Michael we have to go striate to Jail to get Mum out! Bye Mr Nichols.

Mr Nichols: Bye, kids.

Michael: Katherine, do you think they will let Mum out today?

Katherine: I don’t know, we will have to see when we get there, I hope so.

Michael: Hello, we are here to get Mrs Young our Mother out off Jail, our school is teaching German now, and the school board agreed to it.

Katherine: Yes, they have and you can look on the computer files if you want? Our school teacher Mr Nichols finally has agreed to teaching German.

Scene 2
Katherine and Michael are still at the Jail waiting on Mrs Young coming out, but they don’t know how she’s going to react.

Katherine: Okay, now that we have been waiting here for an hour, I’m sure Mum will be coming out soon.

Michael: yeah I know, I’m just getting a bit inpatient.

Katherine: Look! Look!

Michael: Oh, Mum we finally get to see you again!

Mr Young: Hello, you are both looking older now, I’m glad to see you too again and getting out of this Jail cell! Thankyou, I have to thank Mr Nichols too for finally teaching German.

Michael: Can we go home now?...
