Introduction
Hugh McCauley, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Riordan Manufacturing has expressed interest in taking advantage of more sophisticated, state-of-the art, information systems technology in the Human Resources departments at all plant locations in the company. The purpose of this document is to “define the business requirements for development of an HR system to support the objectives of this request (Apollo Group, 2011).” Establishing a detailed system design and project implementation plan required to complete the project. The approximate timeframe for the project is six months to provide sufficient time for the system to be utilized in the second quarter of next year. (Apollo Group, 2011)
