Should we ban Catcher in the Rye?Banned Books in the United States.

Many books are banned in the U.S. due to bad influence of the main character, profanity and sexual content. Many school districts throughout the United States banned the Catcher in the Rye have banned many books due to all of these reasons. Catcher in the Rye One of the most commonly challenged books that contain bad influences, profanity and sexual content is the Catcher in the Rye. contains all of these negative things and should be banned by school districts and should not be read by high school students across the United States.
Should districts want their students to read books with characters that have a positive influence on their children?: An example of a bad influence in a book is Holden Caulfield is not that kind of character.. “Catcher in the Rye in generally banned because Holden is said to be an unsuitable role model” says Yilu Zhao, a respected book critique.. Holden is a bad influence on the average teenage mindteenagers because he provokes evokes bad behavior and if teenagers look up to him, they would do the same bad thingshave the desire to do those same bad actions. Holden always ditches school and or gets kicked out of school, thinks perverted thoughts, gets drunk and smokes constantly. Would you want your kids to have Holden as a hero?Teenagers should be able to relate to a character with good positive morals and values and should be able to look up to them and go through life by example of that character.
