PE PD.1 02/06/09 Super Bowl XLIII I’ve never in my life ever wathced a Super Bowl game mostly because my family wasn’t big on football. Not only that, but I’ve never known anything about the game much at all, or ever watched previous games in the season. A weeks ago, I watched my first NFL game this season with the Carolina Panthers vs. the Arizona Cardinals. At the start of the first quarter, the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger appeared to have made a touchdown at around four minutes into the game. But, Ken Whisenhunt (Arizona Cardinals’ coach) denied the touchdown, saying that the football was down before the goal line when his knee went down, and that the runner broke the plane. After reviewing the footage, the referees agreed, it was not a touchdown. Because of this, the Steelers’ score was reduced to 3 points from the 6 after they made their field...
